Before you start:
In order to access iTunes U, you need to have iTunes installed. You can download it here.
Launch:
You will access DePaul on iTunes U from http://itunes.depaul.edu. In addition to providing iTunes U access, this page also provides links to information and support resources for iTunes. Launch DePaul on iTunes U by clicking on the Visit bar in the middle of the page. This will open iTunes and redirect you to DePaul on iTunes U.
Click:
Once you are in DePaul on iTunes U, simply click on the icon or the title of the series you want to explore (this is called an album within iTunes). This will bring up a list of podcasts in that series, which may be classified with tabs above the list, and a button to give you the option to Subscribe. You can subscribe to the series by clicking the subscribe button. To select individual podcasts, click on the title to play the item or the Get Song or Get Movie button to download it.
Optional: iTunes Configuration
When you download iTunes, it is set up for music. The comment field is used by many podcast authors to give a brief description of the podcast, so you may want this in addition to album (series), artist and time. You change the columns you see by changing the view: go to the View menu and click on View Options, then click the columns you want to see and click OK.
You can also customize the order and size of the columns. Columns can be moved by clicking and dragging the headers; width is changed by clicking and dragging on the lines between the headers.
